JOIN OUR TEAM?
The Salvation Army's Granby Centre has undergone a change process to
transition to a specialist service focusing on the support and care
needs of long-term residents. The service will have capacity for

The Service Manager is fundamental to supporting these vulnerable
residents. You will be passionate, target driven, dynamic and be able
to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for vulnerable
clients in a competitive climate.
You will be supported by a nurse-led care team including a Nurse
Manager, General Nurse and Mental Health Nurse and a team of Care
Assistants to complement a support worker team. There will be two
services on site: for those with Lv.1 complex needs and for more
mobile, less complex residents.
The service is working towards HIQA accreditation, the Service Manager
will be expected to lead on implementing HIQA guidelines.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:?
* Previous experience of successfully managing a similar service.
* Strong knowledge of issues relating to homelessness including
legislation, government policy, state benefits framework and client
support pathways.
* Higher Advanced Certificate/BA/Diploma or equivalent in a related
field.
* Previous experience of developing business plans, budget
management, and the continuous development of operational procedures
and processes.
* Previous experience of leading and managing a team to deliver
objectives.
